this that I like. Also something that kind of bothers me? But in a good way?

in magazine editorials. Harper’s Bazaar Spain has an absolutely beautiful spread, and if I had the mind and creativity to envision such a shoot.. it would be this one.

I love this ad. Maybe the first of Tom Ford’s ads that aren’t super inappropriate and crazy provocative.

Vogue Korea June 2010 – Breathtaking. These modern hanboks (traditional Korean dress) have a Mongolian feel to them with the colorful and eccentrically ornate headdresses. Amazing!

A much more detailed and wordy explanation/entry will happen later. For now, something to entertain those beautiful eyes of yours… creepy ….

I don’t know what that means but it’s shot by Beau Grealy for Flair Magazine’s May 2010 issue
I absolutely love the styling. But most of all, I love the model’s hair. I know dying has been a huge trend lately–especially those blue/grayish/pink tones. I wish I could do light pink with strawberry blond/light brown/gray, but honestly.. that’d be hard to get done. And my mom would kill me. And I’d look more crazy than I already do. Maybe I’ll get it done in japan heheh

Goodness, so gorgeous. Hair can be such a great accessory. It pretty much sets the tone for all the outfits. I’m loving the wing-tipped oxfords, the shiny/metallic/blue/with the pink ankle socks. Lovely lovely lovely. I wish I could dress like that all the time. My mom would have a fit. For my sister’s graduation, I picked out some outfits and showed them to my mom. For the first time in my life, she was adamant about me NOT wearing certain things. She told me, “It’s not a fashion show.” I was like DAYUM. She’s right, I needed to dress more for the occasion, but I don’t know how to do that.. I just dress for me and the way I’d like to.. but occasions are always so difficult because there’s rules. And it’s hard to look good within those rules unless you got some killer classics (which I don’t – I only own the impractical). Anyway, more updates soon. Good night.
Just painted my toenails red teehee.
Getting ready for the formal tonight!!!!!!!!! woohoooooo
Will put up pictures of dress and everyone else’s dresses raterzzzzzzzz :):)
Vogue Nippon‘s absolutely adorable editorial:
Looks The Little Prince – I’ve always wanted to read that book
DOING WORK BEFORE FORMAL! FOR REAL THIS TIME! BYEBYEEE
and some Mr. Softeeee, the best the best the best. When I hear Mr. Softee’s truck song, I drop everything and run.
Topshop blouse, AA tank top, Silence + Noise pants, Boutique 9 oxfords
When I took this picture, a piece of sprinkles and ice cream fell on the ground. Hence my slow-motion “noooo” kind of looking face. The sprinkles are the best freaking part of the ice cream!!! Sigh. Actually, the bling on my top is more visible in this pic:
A beautiful editorial in the April 2010 issue of Vogue Italia, photographed by, of course, Paolo Roversi
Sasha Pivovarova (say that 10x fast) is my favorite.
Paolo Roversi always takes such romantic, poetic, and delicately provocative photographs. He usually uses really rich, deep hues in his photography, so it’s refreshing and interesting to see him in this light. It reminds me of Tim Walker’s photography, which is my ultimate favorite. (Hint: someone get me that big book of Tim Walker’s photography for my next birthday or Christmas…). Ok going to class.
great news this week. my sister gets into the bestest school ever. my cousin gets engaged. WHAT ABOUT ME!?

I absolutely LOVE Lula editorials. They da best yo.
I’ve just found out about this invention called “sunglasses,” which blocks the sun from making you squint. like this.
“I gotta do work now” – how many times have you seen me write this. Just to let yall know, I never get any work done.
I haven’t posted for a while because of body worship practices AHHH!
Not like anyone is desperately waiting to read something here.. -_- hehe but anyways, I’d like to think so.
I DO have a bunch of things I’ve wanted to share with .. the world? for a while, so here they are:
MOCHI MAKING MASTERS – sounds funny, but it is awesome. Trust me.
Next, a beautiful editorial by Paolo Roversi in W Magazine, October 2009:
This reminds me of the scene in Titanic when Rose is eating her breakfast before whatever-his-face gets mad at her and breaks all the beautiful china. This is a somewhat more creepy and and haunting version of that scene, but I love the Edwardian-esque style here. They look like young Mrs. Medlocks (remember the scary nanny from Secret Garden??). More..
Dude, she’s totally entering the secret garden (when I was a kid, I used to act out the scene where she finds the key to the garden haha..)
Speaking of Maggie Smith.. the woman who played Mrs. Medlock……..
Wow, that was her. She was insanely beautiful. Professor McGonagall never looked so gooooddd
January 2010, W Magazine’s “Run of Show” editorial. Def. one of my favorites of the new year.
Okay, time to do something productive. Will try to make the next entry a bit more personal, and less magazine editorial-ish (because I find the same images on the 203,982,561 blogs that I subscribe to). Good night and early Happy New Year!
