Especially Venice. I have a soft spot for houses on the water and gondolas.

Just fascinated
by Karlie Kloss’ face. Not a super huge fan of the styling or anything of Bergdorf Goodman’s Pre-Fall collections, but the setting is so pretty.
Photographed by Yelena Yemchuk
Goodness, all she needs is some eyeliner and blush, and she looks freaking amazing. I would look silly in glasses and a scarf bonnet thingy, but she looks so innocent/fresh-faced/elegant/tomboyish all at the same time.

Spain, day 6,7?? I lost count: Valencia
The awe-inspiring architecture of Santiago Calatrava. This is the arts and science center in Valencia, complete with an aquarium (called “Oceanarium”), Principe Filipe Science Museum, a planetarium, and the Reina Sofia Arts Palace. We didn’t get to actually go inside any of the buildings, but I wish I had a day to explore the complex. The Oceanarium is Europe’s biggest marine park!!! Dangit, I didn’t get to see the fish.
What’s even cooler is that Santiago Calatrava is a Valencian himself. How awesome must it be to contribute something of that scale to your own hometown?! OH! Cool fact: He is currently designing the new train station at the World Trade Center in NYC. Awesome, can’t wait to see how that turns out.
And lastly, our first glimpse of Barcelonaaaaa
Spain, day 5
Spain, day 4
Spain, day 2
Second day of Spain.
My new favorite ring (: Got it from Forever 21 for $4.80 baby. It fools people because the ring part is on the other side. But… it prevents me from doing many things like using chopsticks. The price you pay to attempt to look cool. Rest of outfit: AA tri-blend t-shirt, Anthropologie shorts, J. Crew brooch, and my Havaiana flipflops.
Today was Portugal vs. Ivory Coast, and I have to say.. I was disappointed in my Ronaldo. But he is still beautiful, no? And he likes shopping. Niceeeeee
Good night!
Ole!
Spain was a great experience, except I would have liked just spending all 10 days in Barcelona. THAT is a city. I also would like to propose to America the same rules that govern the work day in Spain. Apparently, in the summer, people work from 8 or 9 to 3 PM. And everyone eats a late lunch and a late dinner. I love that. Also, people go home for lunch, so shops close from 3-5. Dude, it’s so smart. I think people would be a lot happier. Although, productivity might not be as high, but America needs to calm down anyway. We work too much. Well, I am not included in this “we” category, but .. just saying ..
Okay, enough politics. What do I know.
Eek, bad quality. Day 1, Madrid. Top and shorts from Urban Outfitters, hat from J.Crew, and Havaiana flipflops.
